Since I am also a high school art and photography teacher, the first question that I am often asked is whether being a photographer was always part of my plan. Truth be told, when I was younger I dreamed I would grow up to be a marine biologist or an art therapist, and I didn't develop a passion for photography until much later! I eventually established my photography business after beginning a family and quickly realizing that having a collection of beautiful photographs is the best way to hang on to moments that are far too fleeting, and to guarantee that I get to share and relive those precious moments with those I love! I immediately fell in love with being behind the camera, and the fact that I could take everyday moments and turn them into timeless keepsake images became my mission and hearts content!

I want the images I capture to be the lens through which people see evidence of value and beauty in themselves and in their relationships. The lens that provides images that are proof of what matters most, and what is worth fighting for.

I caught the travel bug last year, and will jump on any opportunity to go adventure!

I love that my job is constantly allowing me to experiment artistically, visit new places, and cultivate new relationships with the most amazing people! There are so many things that I am passionate about, and I am discovering more about myself and what I love during this season of my life more than any other, but the constants are as follows:

I have a heart to serve my clients, and so it is important for you to know that the experience of working with me is not just about having a tangible product in the end and checking off a yearly box, but about reliving authentic emotions that you feel during the season of life that you're living, and maybe even making a new friend to walk along with you through the journey!

One of my favorite ways to capture those emotions is by combining my love of both calligraphy and photography to create one-of-a-kind images. When I can help my clients remember a precious moment in time, while also giving them a frame-worthy piece of artwork, it makes my heart sing! There is no greater feeling than when I witness my work bringing joy to my clients and their families, and reminding them of life's greatest treasures.
